Wilson Canda

Hello! I'm a software engineer and product developer, originally from Ukraine and Angola, now based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I specialize in digital products and ecosystems. Currently, I'm contributing to turning ideas into tangible products at MetaSolves.

Previously, I was a technical lead at Moya, the #datafree messenger, and before that I managed technology at WumDrop, a logistics platform and service in South Africa.

If you're looking for assistance with a project or want to discuss an idea, feel free to reach out to me, it would be a pleasure to try to assist. :).

I'm getting back into writing about various topics on my blog and am in the beginning stages of compiling a reading list, which you can view here.

If you like poetry, you may enjoy some of the poems I collected here.

Although technology often leads science in discovery, the philosophy of technology is usually drawn from the scientific philosophy of its time. In our time, the technology of machines has drawn its inspiration from mechanics, dealing with complexity by reducing the number of relevant parts. The technology of government, on the other hand, has drawn upon statistical mechanics, creating simplicity by dealing only with people in the structureless mass, as interchangeable units, and taking averages.
